Today has been our first day here in Chicago.
At 8:30 we have had breakfast all together and we have met some of the teachers of the high school. After that, our exchange partners have shown us the different parts of the school. It was awesome! Everything is so big! They even have a classroom with real cars for mechanics and a dog which students can touch if they are stressed.
We have gone to the school office and they have given us an ID as if we were Mount Prospect High School students.
One hour later the Americans had to leave and start classes, so we have taken the bus to the train station. And there, we have gone by train to Chicago.
We have walked till the Willis Tower while enjoying the views. Again, it is all so big! The buildings are really tall!
There, we have gone to floor 110th, where instead of walls they have windows, so you can see Chicago from above. We have taken a lot of pictures there.
At 13:30 we were all so hungry. We have divided ourself into different groups and each one has gone to a restaurant.
2 hours later we have met again and before returning to the train station we have taken a walk alongside the river. It was very peaceful and the views were so great.
Now we are in the train going back home. We still have lots of hours to enjoy before going to bed. We are going to have a meeting all together and eat ice cream!
